Diarios de motocicleta

I watched Diarios de motocicleta (Motorcycle Diaries) tonight. The movie is a dramatization of the South American journey of Argentinian revolutionary Che Guevara. The breathtaking scenery is sharply contrasted by the exploitation and dehumanization of indigenous peoples and lepers. This journey is said to be a turning point in the life of young Guevara, who was in medical school at the time. The cinematography and the music give the film a powerful tone and support its message of injustice.
