Borges y yo

Borges y yo by Jorge Luis Borges is a creative short story about the difference between narrator and author. Borges describes himself and the similarities between the private citizen and the public author. He describes how they are different, too, and how people assume that they know Jorge Luis Borges because they have read his works. In the end, he notes that he doesn't know which Borges wrote the short story that the reader just finished. It is a really interesting approach to writing and an entertaining way of discussing the difference between somebody's public identity and private life.
